Every ingredient is carefully selected for its proven benefits and backed by research. We believe in complete transparency about what goes into our products.
Our soaps are handcrafted using a blend of nourishing fats and oils designed to support and care for your skin. We use tallow, olive oil, and coconut oil to create a bar that lathers beautifully, cleanses effectively, and moisturizes deeply—while remaining firm and long-lasting.
Rich in fatty acids that closely resemble human skin oils
Exceptionally mild and gentle soap suitable for all skin types
Dense concentration of saturated fatty acids for abundant lather
At Bedda, our philosophy is simple: deliver the highest quality soap at the best possible value. While tallow is naturally rich in vitamins (A, D, E, and K), these vitamins do not survive saponification—the chemical reaction that turns fats into soap.
Instead, it is the beneficial fatty acids found in the tallow that survive the saponification process. In fact, studies show that many of the original fatty acids in tallow—including stearic (C18:0), oleic (C18:1n9), linoleic (C18:2n6), and alpha-linolenic (C18:3n3)—remain as unsaponified fatty acids in cold-process soap. These unsaponified oils contribute to a more moisturizing and skin-friendly bar.
For this reason, paying a premium for grass-fed tallow would not improve the performance, feel, or nourishment of the final bar. Some brands highlight "vitamin-rich tallow" for label appeal, but functionally, the finished soap offers the same benefits whether the tallow was grass-fed or not.
Our balms are crafted with high-quality, nutrient-dense ingredients so your skin can truly feel the difference. Unlike conventional lotions and creams that rely heavily on water, our balms are highly concentrated—made with nourishing oils and fats rich in vitamins and fatty acids that closely align with your skin's natural composition.
Because they're so concentrated, a little goes a long way. Just a few dabs provide long-lasting nourishment, helping you care for your skin while saving money over time. We believe skincare should be simple and pure. That's why our balms contain no unnecessary fillers or toxins—only natural, raw ingredients sourced from nature to deeply nourish the skin and help protect it from everyday environmental stressors.
Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K
Rich in naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E, and K, grass-fed beef tallow closely mimics your skin's own natural oils. Its unique fatty acid profile makes it highly biocompatible, helping support the skin barrier, soothe dryness, and promote a healthier-looking complexion.
Naturally rich in vitamin E
Naturally rich in vitamin E, jojoba oil helps support skin hydration and balance. Because it closely resembles the skin's natural sebum, it absorbs easily and helps calm the skin while supporting a smooth, nourished appearance.
High content of ricinoleic acid
Castor oil is prized for its high content of ricinoleic acid. It helps lock in moisture and supports skin elasticity, making it especially beneficial for dry areas and delicate skin.
Soothing and rejuvenating properties
Used for centuries, frankincense essential oil is known for its soothing properties and its ability to support the appearance of healthy, rejuvenated skin. It's often valued for helping improve the look of uneven skin tone and promoting a radiant complexion.
Natural protective barrier
Beeswax forms a natural protective barrier that helps seal in moisture without clogging pores. Rich in vitamin A, it supports soft, hydrated lips while shielding skin from cold, dry weather—perfect for Canadian winters.
Refreshing and cooling sensation
Peppermint essential oil provides a refreshing, cooling sensation and a naturally invigorating feel. Its menthol content creates a subtle tingling effect that gives lips a temporarily fuller, refreshed appearance.
